Paris Mountain State Park

Photos from my quick hike at Paris Mountain State Park. A note about the trailhead photo: Back when I was in high school and college I went hiking here several times but the trail was not very well defined. In fact, one time I got lost and followed my dog back to the car. Then next time I went, there was a sign that said ‘No Tresspassing: Private property.’ That’s when I realized that my favorite trail in the park wasn’t actually an official trail and it wasn’t in the park. But this time I went and saw this trailhead and I looked at the map and discovered that the park had acquired the land and added a trail in this place that I had taken so many illicit hikes in so many years ago.
